The CircuPool TOTALBalance pH Control System will not sanitize a pool - no pH control system will sanitize a pool. The TOTALBalance is intended to automatically maintain an optimal pH which, among its other benefits, optimizes the effectiveness of the chlorine in the water without the use of muriatic acid.
