Pretty much any Salt Chlorinator can be used with an above ground pool. Some systems are designed to hang over the edge and into the pool, but the majority will require a section of PVC pipe where the salt chlorinator can be installed after the pump, filter, and anything else the water circulates through before returning to the pool. Adapters are available to transition between PVC pipe and flex hose.
As far as sizing the salt chlorinator, your equipment should have a manufacturer's rated capacity of at least 1.5 times the pool size - 2 times if you are in the south or sunbelt regions. additional capacity will simply call for a combination of reducing the output level and/or operating time and will serve you well by extending cell life.
