That is a common question. No salt system automatically measures and changes the chlorination without other chemical control equipment. Whether you connect your salt system to an aqualink controlller, or you just put the salt system directly on the same circuit as the pump like most people, either way you are just coordinating the run time of the salt system and pump, and then you set the salt system's controls to create more or less chlorine as needed. So you don't have to stick with a Jandy salt system just because you use other Jandy equipment.
