Hi FriendWhat a handy website with a wealth of knowledge! How do I know if its time to replace this particular salt cell? i.e. can the output be measured? I have done two acid washes of the cells in almost three years.Thanks.Daniel

Thanks, Daniel. If your pool salinity is actually good (above 3000ppm), you've thoroughly cleaned your cell so there is no "fizzing" when you put it in new cleaning solution, and you still get the check cell or low salt indications, then you can be pretty confident that the cell is depleted. It's worth checking again, many times a cell can require multiple cleanings if there is enough mineral scaling present.
