For this model, you want your salt reading to be 4000ppm when you get a water chemistry test. If the salt level is in range but you are getting the Service warning light, you're cell might be old and needing to be replaced - especially if everything else checks out (cell is clean, water is filling the cell, cell is plugged in correctly, warm water temperatures, etc...)
