Saltwater chlorine generators actually don't hold any salt! You'll add your salt directly to your pool, and after running your pump for about a day it will dissolve and be like it was never there. The best part is, the salt doesn't get used up. Typically people only need to add a bag or two over the course of a season because of rain.
