Unfortunately only Pentair’s cells will work with what you have. The reason is that only Pentair builds in the electronics and controls to that cell, which is also why Pentair cells cost a little more.
If you're looking to save money, you might want to take a look at the SJ-Series systems. They have an adapter kit that makes it a drop-in replacement so its easy to upgrade. Plus it has easier maintenance and the replacement cells are much cheaper down the road.
