Does this truly only have a 1000 gallon capacity? Seems strange as the next one has a 12000 gallon capacity.

Controlomatic's maximum rated capacity for this model is a 1000 gallon hot tub or spa. Other models may have more or less chlorine output and used in applications with different environments. (The temperature and amount of use of hot tubs can require more sanitation than you might realize).
