How does the pre-filter handle cotton wood? Does it clog the system, move to the clear collection area (ideal), or pass thru to the primary filter? Our current situation can create a blanket around our cartridge filter.

We would expect it to catch in the clear debris chamber, but do not have specific experience with, or customer reports on, cottonwood.
Might we suggest a chainsaw?
