Are there directions for replacing the cell? My unit is about 4 years old and I am guessing I need to replace the cell. The cell doesn't appear to be exactly like the one I currently have. Yes, absolutely, instructions are included. This is just like what you have, it is just pictured without the clear casings that go around it. You can unscrew your old cell from its existing clear housing, slide it out, slide this new one in, and retighten its connection. That is all it takes.
