This cell is compatible with any Hayward / Goldline / Swimpure / Mineral Springs or other equivalent branded unit that already uses a T-CELL-15. Your control box already has the "cell type" for T-15.
If you plan to upgrade a smaller system like a T-3 of T-9, your control box needs to be able to switch to the larger T-15 cell type. This should be possible for most units bought in the last 5-10 years, which have at least the firmware v1.50
