The center-to-center distance for the inlet/outlet pipes is about 1" wider for the SJ, it is not the same as the CPSC36. However, you'd likely prefer the comparable CircuPool RJ or EDGE models. They have adapter kits that will let you use your existing unions and avoid replumbing.
