I have an above ground Intex pool and wanted to install a salt water system. Does it easily connect to my existing hoses or would I need special adaptors, also where do you get the salt and what kind do you buy?

You would want to buy PVC adapters for the hardest store. There adapters that let you glue on one side and have hose barbs to clamp to on the other side. Also get the salt at the hardware store. You can get anything labeled "pool salt" or plain regular water softener salt.
