These are commonly used with variable speed pumps. With any salt system, you simply need to ensure a minimum flow in order to keep your plumbing filled with water; this is typically not an issue. The RPM's required will be 100% unique to your pool's plumbing and equipment. Since the cell is clear, it is easy to verify and adjust the pump's flow if needed.
