my sj-20 unit has about 9000 hours in use. How can I tell if it needs replacement?

In general, if you get an warning light on the controller and you rule out the following, then its time to replace the cell: make sure your salt level is in range, the cell is clean, water is completely filling the cell, the water temperature is in the high 60's, and you have a good tight connection on the cell cord.
