I have been given the task of choosing a salt chlorine generator for our pool since I want to convert to salt water. I don't want to make a mistake and I am not knowledgeable in this area. With that said, after much research I am choosing the CircuPool RJ Plus, but I am not 100% sure which model. We live in North Florida and our 25k gallon pool is in a partially shaded area. It warms up, but never gets too hot like our previous fully exposed pool. Which model should I get, the 30 or 45?

You typically want to choose a system rated for 1.5x to 2x your actual pool size, so if the pool has 25,000 gallons for example, you would want to get the RJ45+, especially in Florida. That way it doesn’t have to work at full capacity on a normal basis to clean the pool, and then you can turn it up when you might need it (after a storm or pool party, for example).
