No, it is just directly connected to power. It has its own built in digital controls which are easy to use.
Is a timer (start time/end time) still required for this pump. I hate the old fashioned mechanical timers. - thanks CircuPool SmartFlo® Variable Speed Pool Pump - 1.7 THP Pumps
