A typical way to do it would be to just leave the timer powering the salt system during times that match up to the times that the pump is programmed to run.
I will be removing my manual timer; however, I have a salt cell that currently is powered through the timer. Will I need to install a junction box and make my connections there and then on to the pump? It seems like the logical choice. CircuPool SmartFlo® Variable Speed Pool Pump - 1.7 THP Pumps
