You should be fine with this pump unless you have added challenges for the pump. Specifically, do you have water features, passive solar heating, or unusual height and distance the pump must deal with?
Will this work with a 20,000 gallon pool or do I need the more powerful one? CircuPool SmartFlo® Variable Speed Pool Pump - 1.7 THP Pumps
