Yes, this model pump is often used for above ground pools. The 1.5 hp SmartFlo pump is rated for 5K-20K gallon pools, but note that it does require a 220volt power source. Depending on your above ground pool's type of plumbing, you may need adapters to transition the connection from PVC piping to flex hose as well. We have those available (linked below), but can also be commonly found at well-stocked plumbing supply or hardware stores.
