When paired with the optional Automation Adapter, a CircuPool SmartFlo Variable Speed Pump can receive signals from an external controller and be controlled in one of two manners.
One control scheme allows an external controller to activate 3 of the pump’s preset speeds. In this configuration the only thing that needs to be set on the pump are the speeds you want it to run in each schedule. The time and duration will be controlled by the external controller.
The second control scheme will allow for an external controller to signal the pump to begin it’s internally set programing. In this configuration the start time and end time is set on the external controller, and then the duration and speed of each schedule needs to be set on the pump. Once the signal comes from the automation to begin, the pump will cycle through all the schedules continuously according to the time until a signal is sent from the automation panel to end operation.
