I have a Pentair Ichlor IC 30. I asume this unit will work with the same Pentair power center? Just different dimensions for the piping install?

That's correct, the same power center is used for this cell as the ichlor30, intellichlor 20,40, and 60. The ichlor cell is shorter as you mention, so you'd just cut it out and glue the new cell in its place.
