I have an easy touch control center powering my current IC40. I don't use the control center to communicate to the ic40, rather I just use the control center to power the cell. Will the cell work the same or do I need to purchase a separate power center.

This cell's cable hooks up just the same way as the original, it just doesn't utilize the separate data connection that an automation system might use. So if it is just plugged into the standard cell cable connection on the power supply unit / control panel, it would work the same way.
