Can I replace my Pentair ic40 with a generic ic60 — or should I stick with a generic ic40? Thx!

Typically "bigger is better" since a salt cell can always be turned down (which gives it less wear and tear) and then you can turn it up if you ever need to (after rain, pool party, etc...). This model has more output level settings, so even with a 60k cell it should be pretty easy to find the right setting. These units use the same power supply on the wall so it is interchangeable.
