I bought a CIFCGEN IC40 from you March 1, 2022. It has worked fine. Now, however, the light is on that says "inspect cell". The troubleshooting guide says this could mean it needs to be cleaned. I tried that and the light is still on. Do you think it is simply used up. Is there any way to check to see if it has any life left?

Cleaning the cell - per the instructions - is always the first step. Sometimes, though, it can take multiple cleanings until a fresh acid/water mix does not "fizz" when the cell is cleaned. If you're certain the cell is clean and your salinity is within range, then please call our support staff at (866) 766-5243 and they can assist you.
