The power supply for my Ic40 is inside the easytouch system. Does the P40 connect the same way? The easytouch controls when the system shuts on and off. How is this handled with the p40? Is there a freeze guard?

This does not replace any pool controls like the easytouch, its just the salt cell which typically gets powered by a power supply like pentair item 520556 (that would look like a tan box on the wall about the size of a football). This aftermarket cell has a power cord that fits and hooks up to power just like the OEM cell.
