The APX Performance P40 Aftermarket Replacement Cell will generally work on 2-speed pumps, but as with any multi or variable speed pump, the question becomes whether the particular pump is powerful enough with the specific plumping or piping layout for the waterflow to engage the flow switch. As a *replacement* cell, the question is whether your current or original salt cell was functional at both speeds, or not.
