If you use the EDGE's available Hayward Adapter Kit, you can install it without replumbing. Based on your description, you would want to keep the prologic controls, and simply add this system as your salt chlorinator. Many people with VSP's put the salt system on a relay that is programmed in the control system to be powered on at the same times as the VSP.
