My pipe size is 1.5 inch. I gather this system is 2” and I wish to install this unit in place of an in-line Hayward chlorination. Each hook up is screen fittings wit a threaded union. This adapter kit is for an existing Hayward salt chlorinator's unions. In your case, you would just cut out your existing in-line chlorinator, and install the salt system in its place. For 1.5" plumbing, you'll simply use off-the-shelf PVC reducer bushings from the hardware store.
