Yes. Both cells are the same length, have the same threads, and use the same power supply. That being said, the relatively small price difference between the 20 and the 40 is typically greatly outweighed by the long term savings that a higher capacity cell can provide (it can work less hard to do the same job, last that much longer, and be turned up higher on demand if needed).
