How do I replace end cap without paying for a complete system?

The cap is a part of the cell. The cap goes around the cord, and is in between the head of the cell and the cable that gets plugged into the power center. The current cell's plug would have to get cut off its wire, the old cap removed from the wire, the new cap inserted with the wire going through it, and then a new cable connector wired on to the end of the cable.
