How do you use it and whats the maintenance like?

Once you install it, there is nothing left to do - it simply sanitizes the water as the circulation pump passes water through it every day. The only maintenance is cleaning quartz tube that the UV bulbs are housed in - if they eventually get dirty, the manual has simple instructions to to clean them off.
