Richard, converting your pool to saltwater is pretty easy. Basically, you would just add the equipment we carry, a saltwater chlorinator, to your existing pool and equipment. The salt chlorinator goes in the plumbing after the pump and filter. This often can be done in about an hour, and many people do this themselves. Once it is installed, you add salt to your pool (the manual describes how much based on your pool size). Salt comes in 40 lb bags, which you get from the hardware store pretty cheaply. The salt will dissolve in a day or so, then you are all set! The saltwater chlorinator sanitizes the pool whenever the pump runs, so you get beautiful, clean water without having to add anymore chlorine, shock, or algaecide.
