Ordered and received my CircuPool TJ Series "Typhoon" Pre-Filter that came with an inline bypass (Part Number: TJ-BYPASS) for use with DE. How is this to be installed? There were no instructions whatsoever. It appears multiple additional fittings are required to complete installation (based on the photo of the TJ-BYPASS-KIT model). Should I have ordered the TJ-PASS-KIT? Very confused and frustrated that this is delaying the opening of my pool as I expected to be able to immediately install the pre-filter upon receipt. The TJ-BYPASS is simply a bypass pipe that you can substitute in place of the pre-filter (when recharging a DE Filter with DE powder). In other words, after you install the prefilter and later on want to put the bypass pipe in, you would just unscrew the prefilter from the plumbing, and then xxxx the bypass back in place. If you did not get the instructions for the prefilter please accept our apologies, attached with this email message is a copy. There are no instructions for the bypass pipe. Please let us know what other questions you might have.
