The Salt Cells on Pentair IntelliChlors and CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinators differ in size and threads. In addition, the Universal will require you to plumb in the Tee Fitting with the Flow Switch. So, some re-plumbing will be required.
An additional point to consider is whether you really want to downsize in chlorine output from an IC 40 to the UL-25. Remember to maintain the standard 1.5-2 times oversizing of your Salt Chlorinator relative to the pool size.
