This system can work when installed at an angle or vertically, as you describe. You'll just tilt your head when you look at its controls.
Due to limited space, I only have two places where a CORE system would fit and it seems neither option is very good. (1) The unit controls will bump my filter if situated above the pvc. It would fit if placed at a 45 degree angle. Is this an option? (2) The unit can be installed along a vertical section of pvc before my in-floor cleaning system actuator.
