I just installed the core 35 and it works great. My pump is on a timer and my generator is plugged in. When the pump turns off the unit shows "no flow". Is it ok to just leave it on with the no flow indicator or will cause a problem with my generator ? I have no problem hard wiring it to the timer, do I just cut the plug off and wire to timer ? or is there a separate power cable sold for hard wire to timer ?

While it will function as described, ideally you would want it on that timer so that there are two things that are ensuring it works in tandem with your pump (the timer and the flow switch). Depending on your setup, you could just remove the plug and direct wire it. The unit is dual voltage, so no other alterations should be required.
