If you are switching from a Pentair IntelliChlor model, most people actually prefer the CircuPool SJ models. They have an adapter kit to connect to your current fittings, so it takes virtually no work to make the switch. Operation will be very familiar, but it has some other benefits as well. The SJ cell is clear so you can see it working and check it without having to disassemble everything. The SJ does not require acid cleaning like the Pentair. Even better, when it comes time to replace the cell, the SJ cells are much less expensive.
