Absolutely, that's a great question. It's designed to make it very easy to replace many older systems, but it will work just fine for new installations.
Can this be used as a new unit on a pool that has never had a salt water chlorinator? Much of what I'm reading mentions it as a replacement unit. Thanks. CircuPool Universal40 Salt Chlorine Generator Salt Chlorinators
