We are considering converting our pool to salt water and are also in need of a new pump. Would this package be adequate for a 16x36 foot inground pool (8 ft on the deep end 4 ft on the shallow)? I'm currently using Baquicil and am thinking about changing over to salt. I haven't opened the pool yet (New York) but will do so in a week or so. I have a variable speed pump. I know this has a flow switch. Am I able to leave power on to the unit 24/7 and when the pump turns on, the chlorinator will work and when the pump is off, it will "shut off" and not cause damage? View answer
