I just bought a CircuPool SmartFlo VS 1.5. How long should it take to prime? I have filled basket up and turned pump on and opened pressure valve on filter. In videos it seems like it only takes a few seconds for water to start coming out of pressure valve on filter. I have left my pump on for 3-4 min and never get water. Shut off pump cause afraid of hurting something. Should I leave on longer? View answer

Currently there is a check valve on the return from my heater back into pool. I know the chlorine generator needs to be the last thing on the return before going back to pool. My question is does the check valve need to stay on between the heater and pool or can it be eliminated from the equation? If needs to stay there should check valve be before or after the chlorine generator? View answer

I have a Pentair IC40 today. I like this option. Will it plug directly into the old 4 pin outlet on the Intellitouch that was previously used by the IC40? I have a circupool Si series with a Si30 cell. System keeps saying salt is low, reading 2400, but test at pool store says in range. I have cleaned cell, and no change in reading. Setting is set at cell type F-15. Is this the correct setting? Any ideas on what I need to do? Thank you. View answer

I use this unit on the lowest setting for my salt water(NaCL)hot tub and it works great! I’m considering switching to bromine due to my wife’s skin sensitivity. Will it generate bromine if I flush the system and add the sodium bromide? If so, where would I buy It(NaBr)? Thanks View answer
