I have a Breeze Slat Water Chlorinator.. It was put in about 4 years ago.. The cell kept getting gunked up with a white substanvce and the pool guy said he was cleaning it off every two weeks..doubtful - as since I came back for good it has not happened again..but now, the white cloudy substance (Chlorine) is not coming into the cell although the cell is still vibrating.. Is there a problem solving chart for this? Also, if I need to buy a new cell how do I knwo which one..Thank you for any help Mary View answer

Only 2 plates that are connected to each other on my SGS Breeze 540 show calcium build-up and need to be manually cleaned frequently as if they no longer self-clean. The other 3 plates that are connected to each other appear non-functional because I'm not generating enough chlorine with only 40% functionality. Is this a sign of a bad cell, or is it a controller issue? View answer

I have the SGS 540. Both the cell cap and cell base have hairline cracks and need replacing. Can I order the parts needed for replacement or do I need to replace the entire unit? Thanks! View answer

My pipe size is 1.5 inch. I gather this system is 2” and I wish to install this unit in place of an in-line Hayward chlorination. Each hook up is screen fittings wit a threaded union. I want to make it easy and likely I will need the reducer from 2” to 1.5”. Any suggestions? View answer

Given the salinity level is kept within range for the Core 55 Generator and the cell is inspected/cleaned per manufacturers recommendations, what is the average lifespan of the titanium cell? Will this need to be replaced every season or will someone get multiple seasons of use out of the same cell? View answer

I see that the ic20 aftermarket replacement does more. My only worry is that it will run constantly. does the flow switch stop the salt generation when the pump is off? If so, I see no reason for the communication cable anyway. Is there any reason not to replace pentair with aftermarket? View answer

What exactly is the super chlorination mode on the p20 ? And is it necessary at installation if the chlorine level in the pool is already between 1.0 and 4.0 ppm ? View answer

I have a Pentair sys with IC 40 and have read that Pentair says I can replace it with a IC 60 and set it at a lower setting and it will last longer. Can I use the CFICGEN60 to replace the IC 40 that is going bad the same way View answer
